MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev at his Wednesday meeting with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen confirmed his readiness to study the proposals of the alliance on joint missile defense, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
"The Russian president confirmed that we will be ready to take part in the establishment of such a common system starting with a joint analysis of what could be done. And, of course, equally building a system that would be aimed at neutralizing the challenges that are common for all of us," Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with Rasmussen.
