NATO understands that cooperation in missile defense with Russia can only be equitable - Lavrov

MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) - Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov did not disclose NATO's additional proposals on cooperation with Russia in missile defense, saying they are based on the principle of equality.

"Without going into detail for clear reasons, I can say that our NATO partners have a clear understanding that Russia's participation in this possible joint work will only be equitable," Lavrov said at a news conference on Wednesday after talks with NATO Secretary General Andres Fogh Rasmussen.
