BARNAUL. Dec 2 (Interfax) - A convicted member of the international terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir will be tried again in Altai for recruiting penitentiary inmates to the organization, the territorial prosecutor's office said.
The recruitment lasted for more than one year.
"The man knew that the Russian Supreme Court had banned Hizb ut-Tahrir as a terrorist organization," the office noted.
The Barnaul Leninsky District Court will bring the charge of organizing the activity of a religious group banned by the courts as extremist (Part 1, Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code).
