MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) is prepared to provide the results of the investigation into the crash of the Polish presidential plane to an international investigation or audit, IAC head Tatyana Anodina said.
"Concerning international investigations or audits, the [IAC's] technical commission and experts, who were involved, would be ready to provide the relevant substantiation and explanations at any professional level," Anodina said at a news conference at the Interfax main office on Wednesday.
"To be honest, it will be a lot easier and more simple to understand this in the community of professionals," Anodina also said.
Asked whether the IAC is prepared to face the Polish leadership's negative reaction to the report on the causes of the crash, she said, "Again, no format of a joint report compliant with the Chicago Convention is envisioned. Nor have the sides the right or obligations to accept or not to accept the report, provided by an independent investigative agency."
