MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax) - The lawyer for the WikiLeaks founder has denied reports that Julian Assange has received a Russian visa and is going to visit Russia in the near future.
Assange is restricted in his movements and is not allowed to leave the United Kingdom until the hearing of his extradition case is complete, his lawyer Mark Stephens said on Ekho Moskvy radio on Thursday.
A number of media outlets said earlier on Thursday that Assange could visit Russia and already has a Russian visa.
