MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax-AVN) - The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Collective Rapid Reaction Force will hold exercises in Armenia in 2011, CSTO Secretary-General Nikolai Bordyuzha said on Wednesday.
"The exercises were approved," he said.
Consultations will be held soon to discuss the number of servicemen and materiel involved in the exercises and their goal. "The exercises in Armenia will resemble those held in Astana in 2010," Bordyuzha said.
Army and specialized units will take part in the exercises, he said.
The CSTO has approved all the regulations necessary for the Collective Operative Reaction Force, he added.
