Georgian leader to attend Munich Security Conference

TBILISI. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will take part in the Munich Security Conference on February 3-6, Saakashvili's spokeswoman Manana Manjgaladze said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

The Georgian president plans to both speak at the conference and to hold bilateral meetings on its sidelines, she said.

"In particular, the president of Georgia plans to meet with Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and the president of Switzerland," she said.
