Putin, Chavez discuss joint projects

KIROV. Feb 4 (Interfax) - Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez discussed the implementation of joint projects and military-technological cooperation by telephone on Thursday.

The talk took place during Putin's working trip to Kirov, the Russian government's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has told Interfax.

"They [Putin and Chavez] discussed at length the current state of trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of particular projects in the financial, energy and military-technological field," he said.
