MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russia's representation at NATO will for the first time mark the Homeland Defender Day with a reception at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on February 23, Russian Ambassador to NATO Dmitry Rogozin told Interfax on Tuesday.
"We rented a restaurant at the alliance's headquarters for the lunch break. The lunch will be attended by NATO headquarters staff, ambassadors, who will be welcomed by Russian officers in full dress uniform and diplomats. And, of course, pancakes and Russian vodka. They are unlikely to refuse such a treat. We will sing something Russian," Rogozin said.
Such a reception is being organized for the first time, he said.
"Invitations have already been sent out," the Russian ambassador said.
