PLESETSK, Arkhangelsk region. Feb 25 (Interfax-AVN) - The launch of the new generation Glonass-K navigation satellite from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome scheduled for February 25 has been postponed by one day, Russian Space Forces Commander Lt. Gen. Oleg Ostapenko said on Thursday.
"We are moving to a reserve date, February 26. We are not managing by 6:11 a.m. Moscow time on February 25, as initially planned. We do not have enough time to run the whole preparation cycle and to get relevant conclusions from institutes," he told journalists.
The state commission will hold another meeting at around noon on February 25 to consider the preparations for the launch on February 26.
"The likelihood of the launch on the 26th is very high," he said.
