Area of Friday blasts in Moscow checked for more bombs

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - Sappers are examining the area around the scene of Friday afternoon bombing in northeast Moscow for more explosive devices, a source in law enforcement told Interfax.

"The explosion scene has been cordoned off and experts are collecting fragments of the explosive devices to define the type and power of the two bombs. Simultaneously for security purposes sappers and police are examining the surrounding territory to rule out the possibility of more explosions in Milashenkova Street," the source said.

The source added that all possible theories behind the incident are being studied with misdemeanor being one of the priority theories.
