Russian Prosecutor General's son to be questioned under two criminal cases

MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - The Russian Investigative Committee department for the Moscow region will summon Artyom Chaika, Prosecutor General Yury Chaika's son, for questioning under two criminal cases, one of them dealing with the organization of illegal gaming businesses and the other with an attempt to extort $2 million from Serpukhov district administration head Alexander Shestun, Kommersant reports in its Thursday issue.

A secret witness testified that Chaika could have been related to these two cases, the newspaper says.

Irina Gumennaya, a spokesperson for the Investigative Committee department for the Moscow region, said Chaika would be questioned as a witness.
