STAR CITY, near Moscow. April 26 (Interfax) - The federal space agency Roscosmos has no program of human flights to Mars or the Moon, Roscosmos deputy head Vitaly Davydov told the press in Star City.
"We have no specific programs of manned flights to Mars or the Moon," he said.
Roscosmos has its own system of ideas on the development of human flights until 2040, and a flight to Mars is on these plans, he said. "We think that we will seriously plan a flight to Mars in the third decade," Davydov said.
But prior to this, human missions to the Moon must be flown, he added.
"But there is no confirmed program for human flights to Mars," he said.
