MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia will not only assemble helicopters on the Indian territory but also supply them to third markets together with India, Oboronprom General Director Andrei Reus told a Thursday press conference at the Interfax main office.
"We are setting up joint assembly plants with India. I do not rule out the full assembly of helicopters, which will be exported from India to other markets. That is a prospect," he said.
Asked whether Russia was considering a possible acquisition of Indian plants, Reus said, "We are not considering a purchase of Indian plants as yet."
