YEREVAN. May 12 (Interfax) - A resident of the breakaway Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh has been mortally wounded in a shooting from the Azeri side, a source in the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry told Interfax on Thursday.
"Araik Balasanian, a 33-year-old resident of the village of Kyuratakh of the Gadrut district, was wounded in the head as a result of shooting from the Azeri side at around 6:05 p.m. local time (5:05 p.m. Moscow time) on May 11," the source said.
The man died on his way to a hospital. He was doing farm work when the incident occurred.
