KYIV. May 13 (Interfax-AVN) - The total numbers in the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be reduced by 7,897 to 192,000 people in 2011.
The respective bill proposed by President Viktor Yanukovych was favored by 249 out of the 364 present at the session on Thursday.
Under the bill, by December 31, 2011, the Ukrainian army numbers will be cut to 192,000, including 144,000 troops.
