Russia insists on end of bloodshed in Libya, negotiations - Lavrov

MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - Moscow calls for the immediate end of bloodshed in Libya and the beginning of the settlement process, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a Monday press briefing in Moscow.

"We want the soonest end of bloodshed in Libya, the return to a political process in the interest of the people of Libya, Libya's neighbors and the entire international community, and negotiations on a new Libya and necessary reforms," he said.
