If no agreement with U.S. on missile defense, strike nuclear potential must be developed

SKOLKOVO, near Moscow. May 18 (Interfax) - If no concrete agreements are reached with the United States on cooperation on missile defense "then we will have to take response measures, which we would not particularly like to do," President Dmitry Medvedev has said.

"Then a strike nuclear potential will have to be formed and developed. That would be a very bad scenario," Medvedev said at a press conference on Wednesday.
