Russia-Poland cooperation in Kaczynski plane crash probe broadens - prosecutor

MOSCOW. May 19 (Interfax) - Moscow and Warsaw have managed to step up cooperation in investigating the crash of Polish President Lech Kaczynski's airplane near Smolensk on April 10, 2010, Russian Prosecutor General Yury Chaika said.

"We are expanding our joint efforts aimed at ensuring a thorough inquiry into the crash of the Polish president's airplane outside Smolensk on April 10, 2010," Chaika said at a meeting with Polish Prosecutor General Andrzej Seremet in Moscow on Thursday.

"The investigation continues. We are expecting results of a number of examinations," he said.
