MOSCOW. May 19 (Interfax) - The crew of the current Expedition 26/27 aboard the International Space Station is due to return to Earth on May 24, and the next crew is scheduled to take off for the ISS on June 8, the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) said on Thursday, citing a decision by the Chief Designers Council of the station's Russian segment.
"There are no obstacles to future work under the ISS program," Roscosmos said.
The current ISS crew, Russian Dmitry Kondratyev, Italian Paolo Nespoli and American Catherine Coleman, arrived at the station in December of last year. They will come back to Earth onboard the Soyuz TMA-20 spacecraft.
The next crew, to be taken to the ISS by the Soyuz TMA-02M, include Russian Sergei Volkov, Japanese Satoshi Furukawa and American Michael Fossum.
