MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Federal Security Service (FSB) and criminal investigation officers have detained a female national of Tajikistan wanted in her country for five years for calls to overthrow the constitutional system, a source in law enforcement told Interfax on Friday.
"FSB officers and criminal investigation operatives detained a 34-year-old national of Tajikistan Thursday afternoon in Bolshoi Kiselny Lane," a source said.
He added that the woman had been wanted internationally since 2006. The Prosecutor's office of Tajikistan is charging her with calling for overthrowing the constitutional system in her country and establishing an Islamic republic.
"The woman is now in a pre-trial detention center. The question of her extradition is being decided," the source said without disclosing the name of the detainee.
