Remdisel to service over 12,000 Army vehicles in 2012

MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax-AVN) - The Army welcomes a better quality of repair works done by outsourcing organizations, Army spokesman Lt. Col. Sergei Vlasov said.

"As we can see, outsourcing organizations repair vehicles much better. Vehicle parts are modernized as much as possible in major repairs, and the use of original parts provides equal maintenance quality regardless of the location of a military unit and the optimal logistic formula," he said.

Repair plants guarantee the smooth operation of vehicles for 15,000 kilometers, he said.

CJSC Remdisel, which has 62 service centers across the country, will examine the technical condition and provide maintenance to 500 Army vehicles in 2012, and provide technical control for 12,000 additional vehicles.
