Medvedev concerned over growing extremism in young people

MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - Radical and nationalist groups are turning devious, President Dmitry Medvedev said at the Monday conference on the suppression of extremism.

"The extremist crime rate grew by about 20% last year. We are particularly concerned about growing extremism in the youth environment," he said.

"Radical and nationalist groups are more and more prepared and their tactics become devious," Medvedev said.
