ASTANA. May 24 (Interfax) - The Astana police department has opened a criminal case after a car exploded near a special service's jail in the Kazakh capital early on Tuesday morning, police spokesman Nurdilda Oraz said.
"A criminal case has been launched based on charges of destruction or damage of someone else's property as a result of haphazard handling of fire - Article 188 of the Penal Code," Oraz said at a press briefing in Astana on Tuesday.
