MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - Moscow has demanded that Pakistani authorities investigate a reported May 17 incident in which five suspected Russian nationals were killed in a security operation in Pakistan.
The Pakistani Ambassador in Moscow, Mohammad Khalid Khattak, was invited to Russia's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday and a demand was given to him for "a comprehensive and objective investigation" of the incident, which occurred in the vicinity of Quetta, Balochistan province, and for "access to relevant material for Russian representatives," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
