TBILISI. May 25 (Interfax) - A military parade rehearsal will take place in Tbilisi's Prospekt Rustaveli on Wednesday, the Georgia media have reported.
According to the media, the rehearsal is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tbilisi time (3:00 p.m. Moscow time).
The parade rehearsal will involve military equipment and aviation.
Traffic restrictions will be imposed in central Tbilisi due to the parade rehearsal.
In the meantime, representatives of the opposition People's Assembly, who have been holding a rally in front of the Georgia Public Television building since May 21, intend to march in the direction of Prospekt Rustaveli and gather on the Liberty Square on Wednesday.
The People's Assembly leaders have called on their supporters to gather in front of the building of Georgia Public Television at noon (1:00 p.m. Moscow time).
