NIZHNY NOVGOROD. May 26 (Interfax) - Residents of the military unit compound and nearby gardening societies are being evacuated from Urman in the Iglinsky district of Bashkortostan because of the fire on the military unit's location, Volga emergency situations department spokesman Oleg Zuyev told Interfax.
He said the regional crisis management center received the fire report at 11:42 p.m. Moscow time.
"Twenty-five buses have been assigned for the evacuation. People are taken to towns nearby and accommodated at schools," he said.
"According to the reports of the military, the military unit personnel have been evacuated also," he said.
