DEAUVILLE, France. May 27 (Interfax) - Moscow regards the extent of its efforts aimed at mediating in the Libyan crisis as sufficient, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told journalists in Deauville on Friday.
"The situation in Libya is not a topic for stories by countries outside the region. We will not dictate any solutions," he said.
"Our priorities of such de facto mediation were heard from the American side" at a meeting of the Russian and U.S. presidents in Deauville on Thursday, the diplomat said.
"Actually, there is no need to ask us to mediate. We have already started to do it," Ryabkov said.
