UFA. May 30 (Interfax) - The intensity of the explosions at the army ammunition depot in Urman, Bashkortostan, which caught fire last week, has increased, the Bashkortostan Emergency Situations Ministry told Interfax.
"Tenants, who have returned home, are fleeing once again towards the headquarters located six kilometers away from Urman," he said.
Ministry heads are visiting the explosions scene, he added.
"Several dozens of Urman residents have been taken to a safe place, they are walking right in the direction of the headquarters," the source said.
The intensity of the explosions has grown to every two or three minutes from five to six hours this morning.
Bashkortostan Interior Minister Igor Alyoshin is coming from Ufa to Urman to personally control the provision of people' security.
