Dozens of new planes to be supplied to military transport aviation before 2020 - commander

MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax-AVN) - Massive deliveries of new jets to the Russian military transport aviation will begin in 2014, military transport aviation commander Lt. Gen. Viktor Kachalkin told reporters on Monday.

"Hopefully, military transport aviation will start receiving Antonov An-70 and Ilyushin Il-76 MD 90a in 2014," he said.

In addition, it is planned to deliver new Antonov An-124-300, which will be built in Ulyanovsk, he said.

"Dozens of planes will be supplied," he said in answer to the question of how many planes military transport aviation may get before 2020.
