MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax-AVN) - A Russian Defense Ministry delegation led by deputy head of the General Staff Main Operative Department Maj. Gen. Sergei Rudsky will visit Paris on June 6-9 to discuss European missile defense.
"Head of the International Organizations Department Rear Admiral Pascal Ausseur will lead a delegation of French officers and generals to the bilateral negotiations," says a ministry report received by Interfax-AVN.
"The negotiating parties will discuss bilateral military cooperation, armed forces reforms, European missile defense and other areas of cooperation in the provision of European and international security," the report said.
The Russian delegation will visit the French Armed Forces' Operative Staff in Mont Valerien and the Paris military district staff, the ministry said.
