ROSTOV-ON-DON. June 6 (Interfax-AVN) - Rostvertol will start the delivery of Mil Mi-28NE helicopters to Algeria in 2012, Rostvertol General Director Boris Slyusar told reporters on Saturday.

"We have made our offer [to the Algerian defense Ministry] and the negotiations will start this year. We want to sign a contract and deliver helicopters in the period from 2012 to 2017," he said.

Slyusar refused to say how many helicopters might be delivered. "It is premature to discuss that," he said.
