MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and chief of the Russian Army General Staff Nikolai Makarov have flown out to Germany on a working visit, defense minister's press secretary Irina Kovalchuk told journalists.
"During the business trip, Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov will visit the German Army Combat Training Center in the town of Letzlingen, as well as a Rheinmetall Defence testing center in Unterlu," Kovalchuk said.
Rheinmetall Defence is the largest defense product manufacturer in Europe, she said.
Part of the Russian defense delegation will visit a German army ammunition storage base in Schneeberg.
