MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev cordially congratulated Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on the country's 200th anniversary of independence in a telephone conversation on Sunday, the Kremlin said.
He wished good health and success to Chavez and peace and prosperity to the people of Venezuela.
"The chiefs of state lauded the fulfillment of the summit agreement on further development of trade and economic cooperation, which is fostered with high dynamics of bilateral contacts at various levels," the Kremlin said.
