MOSCOW. July 28 (Interfax) - Garun Kurbanov, a spokesman for the leader of the Republic of Dagestan in Russia's North Caucasus, was most likely killed in retaliation for his work, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax.
"Investigators are analyzing different theories behind this crime. However, our main theory is that it was related to his work," he said.
