No one orchestrated Minsk metro blast - prosecutor (Part 2)

MINSK. Aug 1 (Interfax) - No one organized the terror acts that happened in Belarus in 2005, 2008, 2011, Belarusian Deputy Prosecutor General Andrei Shved said on Monday.

"I bindingly confirm that no organizers or sponsors of V. Kovalyov and D. Konovalov have been exposed in the investigative procedures. There is not even indirect information of the sort," he said.

"I am absolutely confident that their actions were independent," Shved said.

The suspects had been engaged in terrorism for ten years, Shved said. "They committed their first crime in 2000," he said.

"Fifteen killed citizens, hundreds of wounded and damage of over Br2 billion," he said, summing up results of that activity.
