MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - Britain has appointed Tim Barrow as its new ambassador to Russia, replacing Dame Ann Pringle, the British Foreign Office said on Tuesday.
Barrow will take up his duties in November of this year, the office said in a statement.
He has worked in the British diplomatic service since 1986, has held various diplomatic positions in Moscow and Brussels, was ambassador to Ukraine in 2006-2008, and subsequently was appointed as the Brussels-based British representative to the European Union Political Security Committee and ambassador to the Western European Union.
