MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - The crew of Polish President Lech Kaczynski's airplane, which crashed near Smolensk, was replaced a day before the flight, Georgy Yachmenev, deputy chairman of the Inter-state Aviation Committee (IAC) technical commission, said.
"This flight was indeed due to be performed by a different crew. The crew was replaced. Such information was obtained by us from the regiment leader. And this crew was formed literally a day before," he said.
