MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - In investigating the causes of the crash of Polish President Lech Kaczynski's aircraft near Smolensk, the technical commission of the Inter-state Aviation Committee (IAC) did not aim to find people responsible for the tragedy.
"We are not engaged in establishing culpability or establishing responsibility," IAC technical commission chairman Alexei Morozov told a press conference in Moscow on Tuesday.
"Both our and Poland's primary goal in investigating the disaster was to prevent similar tragedies in the future," he said.
