MINSK. Aug 3 (Interfax) - Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski's latest statements on Belarus sound as if he were in a virtual reality, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry has said.
It has been a long time since Sikorsky's "exotic" statements have stopped arousing concern and "raise a smile" instead, the ministry's press secretary Andrei Savinykh has told Interfax.
"He seems to be in a parallel or virtual reality," Savinykh said.
Earlier, Sikorski said in an interview with The Financial Times that "a theme for discussion with Mr. Lukashenko is Belarus' transition to democracy and his exit from power. He should better learn from Polish General [Wojciech] Jaruselski's example, rather, and from Mubarak or Gaddafi."
