Russia's contract with Pentagon on shipping helicopters to Afghanistan being implemented - official

MOSCOW. Aug 4 (Interfax) - Ten sets of foreign equipment will be delivered to Kazan in August and September to be installed on Russian Mi-17V5 helicopters intended for shipment to Afghanistan under a contract with the U.S. Defense Department, Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, a deputy director of the Russian Federal Military-Technological Cooperation Service, told journalists on Thursday.

"The first two sets of equipment will be shipped to Kazan at the end of August and the other eight in September," he said.

Russia "has no disagreements with its American partners now," he said.
