Khrunichev sells 37 billion rubles worth of products in 2010

MOSCOW. Aug 4 (Interfax-AVN) - The Khrunichev Aerospace Center sold 37 billion rubles worth of products in 2010, Khrunichev General Director Vladimir Nesterov said on Thursday.

"Despite the crisis in 2009 and the incomplete recovery of national industries in 2010, we sold our products energetically enough," he said.

The company sales stood at 9.7 billion rubles in 2005 and grew by almost four times in the past five years.

The affiliation of several plants to Khrunichev resulted in substantial financial losses because the plants were nearly or already bankrupt. Khrunichev had to spend its funds on their recovery. "In all, we spent 10.5 billion rubles," he said.

However, the government gave 8 billion ruble subsidies to Khrunichev, and the expenditures were compensated for, Nesterov said.
