Situation calm near Tymoshenko supporters' tent camp

KYIV. Aug 10 (Interfax) - The situation is quiet near the tent camp put up by the supporters of former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko in front of the Pechersky District Court building in Kyiv.

There have been no incidents, although cars near the tent started being elevated, an Interfax correspondent said. Two buses with officers from the Berkut special unit are present near the tent camp. A number of police officers are maintaining public order in the street.

Tymoshenko was arrested at the court's order last Friday. After the arrest, her supporters put up the tent camp outside of the court building.
