CHELYABINSK. Aug 12 (Interfax) - The Chelyabinsk region court has convicted a former police officer of stabbing two people to death in a row and sentenced him to 15 years in a high-security prison, a court spokesman told Interfax.
The man worked in Chelyabinsk's police department from 1978 to 1985, when he killed his father and was given a ten-year prison term. He was also dismissed from the police service.
The former policeman received another prison sentence for causing serious bodily harm in 1999. He returned to Chelyabinsk in 2002.
