Defense, civilian contracts worth over $3 bln could be signed at MAKS air show

ZHUKOVSKY. Aug 12 (Interfax-AVN) - Contracts totaling over $3 billion are expected to be signed at the MAKS 2011 International Aerospace Show, Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told journalists on Friday.

"Our forecast is that the figure will be over $3 billion," he said.

"We are talking about both defense and civilian orders, including for the promising MS-21 aircraft," he said.
