MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The Energia Corporation will display mockups of a new-generation spaceship and a commercial orbiting station for tourists at the MAKS 2011 international aerospace show that starts on Tuesday.
"The exhibition will present mockups and models of existent and prospective spaceships, including the mockups of the landing capsule and astronaut's seat from the Vostok spaceship, models of Soyuz and Progress spaceships, the concept mockup of the return capsule of the new-generation manned transport system, a model of the commercial orbiting station, a model of the vehicle to fly around the moon and others," Energia President Vitaly Lopota told Interfax-AVN on Monday.
In addition, Energia will present graphic and video-materials about the history of Soviet and Russian space exploration and the corporation's role in space programs.
