Defense Ministry's central apparatus won't be restructured - Serdyukov

NIZHNY TAGIL. Sept 9 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry's central apparatus will not be restructured, Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov told Interfax-AVN on Friday.

"Concerning the Defense Ministry's central apparatus everything will remain as it is now. No changes will be made," he said.

Serdyukov was commenting on media reports claiming that the main commands of the Air Force and Navy are to be restructured into the General Staff's corresponding departments.
