MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Moscow has deplored the 2007 withdrawal of the United States and European Union from a trilateral, high confidence group on anti-terrorism activities set up by the U.S., EU and Russia.
"It was with surprise that, in looking through the WikiLeaks website, we found a cryptogram by U.S. experts in the European Union from which it follows that in 2007 the U.S. and the European Union blocked the further activities of the Russia-EU-U.S. trilateral, high confidence group on anti-terror, activities that the Russian side had been advocating energetically," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich told a briefing in Moscow on Thursday.
