MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax-AVN) - SuperJet International (SJI) and Comlux Group have signed a contract on the delivery of two Sukhoi Business Jets (SBJ) and an option buy of another two jets of the kind, SJI said.
Comlux will be the first buyer of the new VIP aircraft of SuperJet. The deliveries will start in 2014. The contract value is $200 million, the option included.
The Sukhoi Business Jet is a VIP modification of Sukhoi Superjet-100. It has a large cabin and can travel 8,000 kilometers thanks to the additional fuel tanks. The VIP modification was launched four months after putting the SSJ-100 into service in April 2011.
Comlux has a fleet of 19 jets (1 BBJ767 limitless, 2 Airbus ACJ318, 2 ACJ319, 1 ACJ320, 4 Bombardier Global Express, 3 Global 5000, 3 Challenger 605, 2 Challenger 850 and 1 Dassault Falcon 900LX). Another eight jets (1 Airbus ACJ319, 2 Bombardier Global 6000, 2 Global 7000 and 3 Embraer Legacy 650) are either ordered or being put into service.
Comlux offers charter transportation and a full set of services to VIP clients.
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft shareholders are the Sukhoi Company (75% minus one share) and Italian Alenia Aeronautica (25% plus one share). SSJ-100 is a 100-seat plane.
