Three natives of Kabardino-Balkaria wounded in brawl with Chechens in Moscow

MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - Moscow police are searching for the participants in a brawl, which took place in the city's southwest early on Sunday morning.

Natives of Kabardino-Balkaria and Chechnya clashed in a cafe on Miklukho-Maklai Street at about 12:30 a.m. on October 16, a police representative told Interfax.

He said about ten fighters moved outdoors and non-lethal weapons were used.

"Three men from Kabardino-Balkaria were taken to hospital. A 32-year-old man was injured in his stomach, his 33-year-old friend got a head injury, and an unknown man was injured in his leg," the police said.

Forensic experts collected nine cases of non-lethal rounds and a Makarych pistol cartridge clip on the brawl site. A criminal case may be opened.
